So you’ve decided to register with TSI — great choice! We’re excited to help you find legal, reliable work that fits your skills and goals.
Before you start working, you’ll go through a short interview and orientation at our office. Don’t worry — it’s relaxed, respectful, and designed to set you up for success.
Here’s what to expect:
✅ The Interview: Quick, Friendly & Focused on You
This isn’t a formal job interview — it’s a short conversation to get to know you.
We’ll ask about:
Your past work experience
What kind of jobs you're looking for
Your availability and work preferences
Any licenses, certifications, or training you have
You don’t need to dress up — just come as you are. Our goal is to understand how we can best support you and connect you to the right kind of work.

🧠 Orientation: Safety, Your Rights, and What Comes Next
After the interview, you’ll attend a short orientation — usually 20 to 30 minutes. This covers everything you need to know before starting a job with TSI.
Orientation includes:
Health & Safety Training: Learn how to protect yourself at work and recognize hazards.
Your Rights at Work: We’ll go over employment standards, pay rules, and how we protect you.
Payroll Information: We’ll explain how and when you’ll get paid (always legally, always on time).
Expectations on the Job: What to wear, how to report hours, and how to stay in good standing with us and our clients.
You will receive a safety certificate or documentation after orientation.
🧾 What You’ll Need to Bring
To complete your registration and orientation, bring the following:
Valid photo ID (driver’s license, PR card, etc.)
Valid SIN (Social Insurance Number)
Work permit (if applicable)
Banking info for direct deposit (void cheque or printout)
Optional: Resume or certifications (if available)
👷 What Happens After Orientation?
Once you're registered and trained, we’ll begin placing you in suitable jobs — often within days. We’ll stay in touch about upcoming shifts, availability, and long-term opportunities.
